We raise mid-market buyout, special situations and venture funds, typically €100m to €1bn in size.

Acanthus offers a full range of advisory services to private equity funds, with a focus on fundraising. Our ultimate objective is to help our clients build a diversified, long term base of institutional investors so they can concentrate on generating returns. In the last three years, our clients have raised over €2bn.

To this end we apply our expertise in fund formation, marketing and reporting, and our extensive knowledge of institutional investors, to manage the entire fundraising process as efficiently as possible.

With the fund closed we help the client manage investor relations, from regular reporting to portfolio secondaries. We can also provide bespoke advisory services for General Partners with specific fundraising needs.
